Pacifism

Preface  In this blog, I am writing about Pacifism i.e. opposing wars, I will define pacifism from my understanding views, am I even calling myself a pacifist or I am not throwing that label on my shoulders? I am also writing about my main objective of this blog, The wars in Somalia my beloved country, how we've been in wars for more than three decades, even the wars before 1991, and why wars changing their philosophies.  The wars of Patriotism, the wars of tribalism, the wars of political ideologies, the wars of Religious fundamentalism, etc. It seems though to cover all these in a small blog but I will try my best to conclude as best possible. As always, I'm not a writer neither am I an author, I am completely writing just for fun, and I don't have other abilities to spread or share my opinions other than writing, If I could, I would, but I'd apologize to all professional writers across the globe, sorry for this crab, this is just a massage not writings. Does incarceration make good for the bad people? In short, the answer is YES or NO but it is very complicated it depends on the facilities that they get and the proper management of the jails and loads of others things. I am not a big fan of putting all the prisoners in one cell or even a jail where they encounter each other such prisoners were good people before and they commit such crimes unintentionally and abducting them into a cell full of monsters is itself a crime. But I believe all the people were good people once but the circumstances made them do such atrocities or crimes as we all once were innocent children. So we may argue there are no bad people at all, but the real question is what motivates people to do bad things? There are a variety of things such as beliefs, poverty, pleasure, etc. Beliefs for example such dogma can make people very bad and make horrible things, like Hindu extremists, Christian extremists, Islamists, Jews, and the state of Israel, Stalinism-Maoism

Image
Preface My name is Abdullahi M Hersi in two thousand and fifteen I graduate a high school and I applied to university for the first time it was fun and exciting, I was an innocent teenager who don’t have any idea about university and college. I was born and rise in Mogadishu a city that has experienced long and devastating wars, I was there most of them since I was born in the middle of the war. But this blog is not about my biography is about the university and why a degree hasn’t made any meaning or sense in my life at this time and this day and age. These are the thoughts that I have today I’m always willing to change my mind for positive things. Introduction     So let's start my story in university, In 2015 was a great year and a bad year for me, I lost one of my best friends to an unknown illness he drastically die, at that time was the first time I shed tears on my eyes on someone's death, Because for me at that time death due to blast, grenades, and, etc, was normal but

Teachers in Somalia

Image
Preface In my previous blog, I discussed school systems and the negative impact that they had, In that blog on the small topic of teachers I stated that I will discuss this topic in my next one, So I will be telling all my honest and truthful experiences that I had when I was a student I am not exaggerating or lying, The following are exact experiences that I encounter, I’m not quoting any other source rather than my experiences  I know some of the things that I will say here are very harsh but I have no way other than telling the truth. Through all my teachers that taught me anything, I am very grateful for your teachings even though the way you taught me was wrong. But this writing is not about all past experience is about acknowledging the wrongdoing of the teachers in Somalia and trying to come up with a way that we can change together, And to protect our future children and present also. What teachers are doing to the children is not fair and we can’t find any justification for th

How school killed a lot of people’s potential

Image
Preface In this little blog, I’m going to write my honest opinion towards school systems and the way they operate, the negative impact that this system puts on a lot of youth, and many others. In this blog, I’m not targeting special schools and teachers, I’m speaking on general facts towards all of them. Indeed there are loads of positive things in school and teachers that I can contain here in this small blog, in fact, some people may accuse me of cherry-picking the negative impacts that this system had rather than its positive effects, So I let them answer when they finish reading all of this blog. And finally, I will admit all my wrongdoing is rather my juvenile thoughts that I had today or how narrowly I think. Introduction In this blog, I am going to discuss how the school had an impact on people’s potential towards the future and the dreams that they had. The way school systems operate in this era, teachers’ role and how they worsen the system, and finally the parents and their i

How colonization has an impact on Racism Today

How colonization has an impact on Racism Today. Introduction Today I want to write about Racism, Discrimination, Colonization, and Slavery. Nowadays the death of an African-American man called George Floyd escalates nationwide protests in the United States of America, People protesting against police brutality and racism and followed by global protesting held by many cities around the world like London, Paris, Helsinki, ETC. So what is the relation between all these topics? So in this blog I want to discuss more this topic, I always want to talk about these topics I know it’s controversial to say something about it but I do not hesitate anymore. Evilness British monarchy Is the monarchy of the united kingdom now run by Elizabeth II has one of the major impacts on the world’s racism because the monarchy wants to colonize all around the world and especially black people being slaved and say that they are not a human being and we have to sell like animals they ours they must work us.
